A thin, close mock neck in 16-gauge merino that layers under a shirt or a jacket. Burgundy is a final colour.
A fine-gauge knit snags on velcro, rings and rough bag straps. A snag can be eased back with a blunt needle, but it is the trade-off for something this thin.
Pick a size before adding it.
A short 5 cm mock neck rather than a full roll, so it sits neatly under a shirt collar. The 16-gauge knit is fine enough to look almost like jersey from a distance and thin enough to wear under the work jacket.
Burgundy is leaving the range and is reduced against its price over the previous 30 days. Black continues.

The fabric weight on the page is exactly what turned up. I have stopped trusting photos and started trusting grams, and this shop gives you grams.
Second order. The size guide measurements were spot on, which sounds basic until you have returned three things elsewhere that were not.
Did exactly what the “worth knowing” note said it would. I would have preferred it not to, but I would much rather be told before I buy.
